Garden of Huerto del Cura

The Huerto del Cura is a private botanical garden of 13,000 m2 with 1,000 palm trees and a variety of Mediterranean and tropical plants. It was avowed National Artistic Garden in 1943. It’s located in Elche.


If you visit this place you can see a great botanical garden with typical Mediterranean crops and tropical plants from the most exotic places such as lemon, orange, fig, pomegranate, carob, jujube trees, palms and cacti.

Municipal Aquarium of Santa Pola

The Municipal Aquarium of Santa Pola is the oldest aquarium saltwater in Valencia since 1996. It has 710 m2 divided into nine large aquariums that show a representative variety of flora and fauna of the Mediterranean Sea.


You can see a great diversity of marine species of the Mediterranean Sea as seahorses, octopuses, loggerhead turtles, golden, sea bass, groupers, leerfish, wicked, brunettes and bream fish.

Cuevas del Rodeo in Rojales

Cave houses at Cuevas del Rodeo are the best attraction of Rojales. These cave houses have been carved into the side of a mountain between the 19th to 20th centuries.



In the Ecomuseo del Hábitat Subterráneo Municipal there are 15 caves that have been enabled as craft workshops and showrooms. And the artists and craftsmen show their work here.

El Carabasí beach has 900 meters of coast. It’s located in Elche. This beach is a protected area with clear blue water and golden sand dunes. The parking is connected to the sea through gateways. You can see an unspoiled coastline with pine forests, high dunes rising and fossil dunes. There are a beach bar and water sports area too. It also has a nudist area.
