It is foreseen that by the end of 2011 this infrastructure begins to be operational. It is of general interest and it will be a fundamental pillar for the growth of the Region and will favor the creation of new commercial airlines with other countries, besides to become a strategically important point for the arrival of tourists. In short, it will harness the competitiveness of the productive sectors of the regional economy. In addition, the airport, whose cost will reach the 250 million euro, will give direct and indirect employment to 20,000 people.
It is the good news for our clients of the Murcia area; they will have another option to travel by airplane to a nearby airport.
