In Spain, on March 19 we celebrate Father’s Day, coinciding with Saint Joseph’s Day. In some communities this day is a bank holiday, for example, in the Valencian Community. 1- Route through the Laguna de La Mata and the Laguna Rosa (Torrevieja). Torrevieja, just 10 minutes from our urbanization Doña Pepa, has amongst its main attractions two lagoons, which are a protected environment, where you can walk, ride a bike, watch birds or simply enjoy their atmosphere of tranquility. From Ciudad Quesada we have the privilege of enjoying amazing views of the La Mata Lagoon. The Pink Lagoon is quite a spectacle when evening falls, its waters will make you fall in love. 2- Walk along the beaches of Guardamar del Segura. Who doesn’t like to take long walks on a long golden sandy beach? We sure do! Guardamar has around 11km of coastline. 3- Visit to the Rodeo Caves (Rojales). The town of Rojales, to which Ciudad Quesada belongs, has hosted a curious artistic center for several years. The caves dug in the Cerro de Rojales by miners from the 18th Century, have been used to expose the works of various artists and artisans.
