World Paella Day
At Euromarina, we celebrate World Paella Day, a very famous dish of Spanish gastronomy and especially of Valencia, whose popularity has crossed all borders. Born in Valencia, paella has as many variations as there are cooks, that is why these variants are usually called simply rice. Among the most famous, rice with rabbit and snails, with mushrooms or vegetables, rice with lobster, Senyoret rice, arroz a banda, black rice or rice with red tuna, dishes with delicious flavours that you can taste anywhere on the Costa Blanca.
At Euromarina we recommend you some great restaurants where you should try any variety they offer on their menus:
Large terraces and outdoor areas where you can taste delicious rice and spend the day even if you are not staying at the hotel.
It has four halls with different atmospheres and a cellar with more than 13,000 bottles of national and international wine and champagne. It is surprising to contemplate the 300 pieces of acorn-fed Iberian ham that hang from the ceiling. This fantastic Mesón offers us tradition, technique and great products. Numerous recognitions and gastronomic awards endorse its good work.
• Restaurant Nautilus – Orihuela Costa
Located in a privileged environment at the foot of the sea with impressive views where you can enjoy its wonderful menu with products from our area.
The delicacy and preparation of their dishes, their tapas and their seafood characterize this restaurant.
Good Mediterranean food is combined with friendly and close treatment. Any of the rice variants they serve will surprise you with its flavour. In addition, you can finish with a cocktail at Moments bar, located on the beachfront of Urbanova, also recognised with awards by the gastronomic community.
Today we want to highlight one of its specialties, Rice with red tuna.
In this video we leave you the recipe step by step, in case someone dares to put on their apron and try to make delicious rice.
