Carnival in Spain
Carnival in Spain, one of the greatest parties. Colourful streets, beautiful decorations, music everywhere and lot of people dressed in original costumes make this party really special.
In Canary Islands people live whole the year waiting for this date. They have the most famous carnival in Spain. It takes place in February, and usually temperature is about 25 degrees. The main celebrations take place in the the port of Tenerife, a huge party that never ends.

Also in Cádiz carnival is the biggest party of the year. People from all over the world go to Cádiz for this great party. If you think about going, book your hotel one month before. The famous parade is a social criticism with a lot of humour.

Also near our area there are great carnival parties. Alicante is always crowded in this time. Carnival parties are located in the centre of the city and near the sea. Many clubs and pubs are open until early morning and in the streets there are a lot of people.

Águilas (Murcia) has also a never-ending carnival night. The city is located on the coast, 70 kilometres to the south of Cartagena. It can be also a great option for enjoying the Spanish Carnival.

Even if you are not in one of the biggest cities you will feel a special atmosphere of the carnival. All over the country there are many celebrations. It´s just one day of happiness and enjoying but people celebrate it in special way.
