We start 2022 full of hope, sending all our good vibes and cheering all the boys and girls who will take part in the XIV Euromarina Optimist Trophy regatta in Torrevieja. This year it will take place from the 27th to the 30th of January in the maritime facilities of the Real Club Náutico of Torrevieja.
At Euromarina we are really proud that this regatta carries our name and we hope to continue sponsoring it for many years to come.
Illusion and motivation are what moves the participating teams to go ahead, to travel in these still somewhat difficult times.
Teams come from different countries such as Argentina, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Greece, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal or Russia among others.
Thanks to the more than 400 competitors, we can say that the XIV regatta will be a great success. Euromarina Optimist Trophy Torrevieja is one of the most prestigious and important regattas at an international level.
The city of Torrevieja is, in these days, committed to this great event, at a touristic level, providing services and welcoming the teams in its hotels, restaurants, etc., also at a cultural and sporting level. At Euromarina we are happy to help spreading the values this events brings to our city.
We are extremely grateful to the participating teams, the organisers, the Torrevieja City Town Hall, the Sports Department and especially the main sponsors such as Vidal or La Caixa, who make this regatta possible.
Thanks to them the event can be carried out in a completely safe way for everyone. Year after year we faithfully count on their collaboration to promote sport and support these kids who, in the middle of January, bravely go into to the sea to compete in a sport full of passion and soul.
This regatta is so special because it is a perfect plan both for the participants and for those who live it from the outside. Whether it is coming to watch the competitions, participating in the activities or attending the famous and essential Welcome Party.
Children and adults can enjoy this sport that may not be as popular in our country as other sports, but those of us who are familiar with it know that it is very rewarding to see the participants doing their best on their Optimist.
If you have been in any of the previous editions, you know perfectly well what we are talking about. If you have not yet been, we invite you to do so, because you can really breathe a healthy, sporty and positive atmosphere.
