Spain is one of the largest almond producers in the world, the fruit of this precious tree that, between February and March every year, delights us with its beautiful flower. The best routes to see almond blossom are in the interior of Alicante, in places such as the Guadalest Valley, Pop Valley, Alcalalí or the Sierra de Aitana. In the surroundings of Elche, you can also enjoy almond fields, less than 30 minutes away from Guardamar or Torrevieja.
At this time the pollinating insects are doing their job and six months from now the fruit will be collected.
